Roe Deer Successfully Returned to Its Natural Habitat
In a joint operation, a roe deer was safely rescued from the premises of the Elektroprenos company in Rajlovac and returned to its natural habitat.

The Sarajevo Hunting Association was informed by colleagues from the Igman Hunting Society Ilidža and Sarajevo-šume that a roe deer had been spotted within the fenced premises of the Elektroprenos company in Rajlovac. Since the animal had wandered into an enclosed area far from its natural environment, it was necessary to respond quickly, carefully and professionally.
After assessing the situation, a joint rescue operation was organized. Alongside members of the Sarajevo Hunting Association, colleagues from the Lane Hunting Society Vogošća and a professional team from the Breza Veterinary Station also took part. Thanks to the excellent coordination of everyone involved, the roe deer was safely sedated to prevent injury and further distress.
The animal was then carefully transported to a suitable location and successfully released into its natural habitat. The entire operation was carried out safely and successfully, with the utmost attention paid to the welfare of the animal.
This operation once again demonstrated the importance of cooperation between hunting associations, professional services and other institutions in protecting and preserving wildlife. The Sarajevo Hunting Association would like to thank everyone whose knowledge, experience and timely response contributed to the successful completion of this humane rescue operation.
